The design of the kneading plant and the principles of operation
All types of kneading equipment consist of a bowl in which kneading is carried out, and kneading tools driven by an electric motor. All the ingredients necessary for the preparation of the product are placed in the bowl. In some formulations, only part of the components are immediately stacked, the rest are added during the kneading process.
The kneading equipment differs according to the principle of mixing the ingredients. Mixing can be provided:
- The movement of kneading tools.
- By rotating the vat around its own axis.
- By combining both methods.
